Beautiful Kindness

Everyone has an "only in Israel" story, here is Dana's story.

"The kindness that flows through this country is incomparable. You cannot find it anywhere else!"

One day I was having a really hard morning. I was feeling really disappointed and frustrated and was crying on the phone with my friend. I was trying to hide the tears from the people passing by on the busy street I was standing on. An older Israeli gentleman walked by and probably saw me sobbing. He continued on into a building close by, and I didn’t think anything of it.

The next thing I know, he came back out of the building, straight up to me, and handed me a flower he picked from a nearby tree!

He looked at me and said, “This is so your morning will be more beautiful”. I was so surprised and touched. I smiled back and told him that he indeed made my morning more beautiful with his kindness.
