Biking on the Roads
Bicycle- אוֹפַנַּיִם
Here is something really cool to look out for on Yom Kippur in Israel. Everyone is out riding their "ofanayim" or bicycle and the streets are filled with people--young and old!
If you are not keeping the holiday, you can even ride your bike on the highway!
If you do keep the holiday and can find the energy, you should walk to the major highways and watch all the cyclists.
COOL right?! This is a super unique experience in Israel. Enjoy!
