#Pakal_Kafe: Einot Aner
Here's an interesting fact about Israelis - They like to take a #Pakal_Kafe with them on hikes in nature, or when they visit their nearby ma'ayan (spring). (or sometimes use them at home!)
Why do you ask? Well, simply because there is nothing more Israeli than enjoying the outdoors with a nice steaming glass of fresh coffee (*Don't worry, there is always emergency tea for the non-coffee drinkers).

The story
Einot Aner is a group of maayanot and ponds located near the Neriyah Yishuv. There are five ponds, all big enough to swim in. It is called Einot Aner, due to its proximity to Nebi Aner, and ancient gravesite.
The area was renovated by the Neriyah youth in 2014 and is maintained by the kids ever since.
What to expect?
There are at least two natural springs that fill up the ponds with cool, refreshing water. There are picnic tables and shady pergolas for you to enjoy, and it is a great spot for a pakal kafe or a BBQ.
Near the ponds, you can find an old cave that holds remains of ancient murals and antique artifacts.

It can get chilly in the area, even in the summer, so make sure to bring something warm.
The place is maintained voluntarily by the Neriyah youth - please keep it nice and clean.

Drive from the Shilo Interchange towards Talmon, and at the roundabout before the Nili Yishuv make a right turn.
⬅️Continue driving straight until you reach the left turn to the Neriyah Yishuv. ⬅️After around 1.5 kilometers you will get to the sign taking you left to Einot Aner. 🅿️Park the car and enjoy the 5-minute walk to the springs.
