#Pakal_Kafe: Mizpeh Offir

Here's an interesting fact about Israelis - They like to take a #Pakal_Kafe with them on hikes in nature, or when they visit their nearby ma'ayan (spring). (or sometimes use them at home!)

Why do you ask? Well, simply because there is nothing more Israeli than enjoying the outdoors with a nice steaming glass of fresh coffee (*Don't worry, there is always emergency tea for the non-coffee drinkers).

>>> So we @iKonnect decided to hop on this trend!

The story

Mizpeh Offir is a beautiful lookout spot in the south of the Golan Heights. From the lookout, you can oversee the Jordanian Valley, the Kinneret, Emek HaHula, the Hermon, and the Galil.

The spot was built by Jimmy Shaal, in commemoration of his son Offir, who passed away at the age of 16 from a rare liver disease.

What to expect?

From the lookout spot, you can find a trail that takes you on a nice walk between ancient remnants, and old Syrian bunkers and guard posts. The place has plenty of picnic tables and shady areas, perfect for a nice lunch and #pakal_kafe.
